Job Description

Chemsol Group is a fast-growing provider of water treatment solutions, commercial pool plant engineering, and specialist chemical manufacturing. As part of our continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a reliable and motivated Warehouse and Manufacturing Operative to support day-to-day operations across our production and logistics functions.

The Role

This is a hands-on position suited to someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. You will be mentored by experienced team members and trained across a wide range of tasks within warehousing, manufacturing, and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

Order Processing and Dispatch

Learn the full workflow: identifying orders, picking, loading, and delivering goods. Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time, with all paperwork returned for invoicing.

Warehouse Operations

Maintain a clean and organised warehouse through general housekeeping duties. Carry out stock control tasks and support inventory management.

Manufacturing Support

Assist in the production process, including mixing chemical products under guidance. Carry out decanting, bottling, labelling, and preparing finished goods for shipment.

Goods Inwards and Stock Management

Receive and check consignments from suppliers. Sign in deliveries, rotate stock correctly, and ensure accurate put-away. Report low stock levels promptly to maintain continuity of supply.

Reliable, punctual, honest, and trustworthy. Good communication skills with colleagues and customers. Comfortable using Microsoft Windows and Office applications. Full UK driving licence is essential. Forklift licence preferred, or willingness to train and obtain one. A level of experience and maturity suited to a mixed warehouse/manufacturing environment.
