Job Description

The role of the Warehouse Coordinator is to assist the Warehouse Manager in the running of Biocair's Cambridge storage and warehouse facilities.


The Warehouse Coordinator will represent the company in a manner so as to enhance our image, reputation and efficiency using the highest levels of customer care.

Responsibilities will include:

Pack customers samples following Biocair's procedures and observing all relevant regulations and to provide feedback to the company from customers. Monitor and actively manage stock levels at Biocair Cambridge so that assurance of supply for all packaging systems and equipment required for Biocair's packaging services are provided at the desired time and in the desired manner. Ensure replenishment orders are placed in line with supplier lead times to guarantee that minimal stock levels are always maintained. Ensure orders/packaging dispatches are processed in the most cost effective and timely manner to meet customer timescales/requirements Maintenance of all reusable packaging systems to include; receipt scanning, inspection of components, cleaning and conditioning. Capture any non-conformities/deviations and escalate to the Station Manager. Provide a safe & clean working environment, adhering to Biocair Health & Safety procedures at all times, ensuring these are understood and practiced by all persons accessing the warehouse. Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt and storage of all packaging in designated areas.

In addition, you will demonstrate these key competencies:

Experience of working within Transport and or Warehouse Collaborative approach, working across functional areas and cultures Proven ability to work well under time pressure MS Office skills (Excel, Word,) Full Clean UK Driving Licence Excellent communicator at all levels, both verbal and written, with a passion for providing customer service excellence.

Please note this is a full time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, shifts ranging between 07:00-18:30hrs and is 100% on-site based at our Sawston Warehouse.

This is a UK based role and the right to live and work in the UK will need to be established during the recruitment process. Please note we are not currently a Home Office visa sponsorship licence holder.
