Job Description

Join our EGGER team in Hexham and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our cutting-edge automated storage facility within the Upgrading Department.

As a Warehouse Operative in our Blocklager team, you'll be working at the heart of a high-tech, fast-paced environment. You'll help to manage material flow, ensure optimal use of our automated systems, and communicate with both internal teams and colleagues across our international sites in Austria, France, and Germany.

What you'll do:



Operate as a member of a team in the Upgrading Department helping to achieve optimum utilisation and efficiency within the automated storage facility and other work in progress storage areas. Liaise with the Key User EWM regarding any problems experienced within the automated storage area. Working between Production/Materials Management, Production and the Warehouse to ensure efficient and timely material flow. Liaise between the Key Users in Austria, France and Germany Manage the material within the automated storage and holding/transfer areas. Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the department. Attend any further training courses as required. Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner.

What we're looking for:



Good knowledge of IT-based warehouse management systems. Good standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products Accuracy and attention to detail. Working between 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday with the opportunity to work on shift and do cover.
