Style Matters is a bespoke hand-crafted furniture company operating in the Knutsford area, We produce high-end furniture for clients across the country and further afield.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse /driver supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will is responsible for overseeing daily operations of a warehouse.
Hours 7.30-4pm Monday to Friday (8.30 -12pm)
*must have own transport due to location of role and driving license
The Role
:-oversee receiving , storage and distribution of goods.
-ensuring accurate inventory control and stock records
- Carrying out the installation of various furniture items on both large projects and smaller deliveries (Driving is required with this role when needed
- Loading and unloading of deliveries to client sites, and into / out of our warehouses.
- collecting goods from suppliers.
- building frames and table bases (assembly of goods)
- Enforce health and safety and security procedures
- Flexible as the role may occasionally involve early starts, late finishes .
-lead and train staff , assign duties .
What we are looking for:
-5 year plus in warehouse operations
-good computer skills
- Physically Fit, Presentable, Flexible and Hard Working, Experience in manual handling
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Self-Motivated, but also able to Work as Part of a Dynamic Team
- Able to Work Under Pressure and Maintain Deadlines
-A full UK driving licence - as driving will be an essential part of this role
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 14.50 per hour
