Main Purpose of Job:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse at Cafe Deli Wholesale, Croydon. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, supervising delivery drivers, optimising delivery routes, ensuring health and safety compliance, and promoting a positive work environment. Position Reports To: Operations Manager

Main Responsibilities:

Supervise and support warehouse staff and delivery drivers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations Plan and optimise delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment, working closely with office and sales teams Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and maintain accurate records Oversee loading/unloading of goods and ensure proper storage organization Ensure all warehouse operations comply with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment Promote equal opportunities and a positive team culture in the workplace Monitor and enforce company policies, ensuring all staff adhere to procedures and standards Investigate and resolve any delivery or stock discrepancies efficiently Assist in staff training and continuously improve warehouse procedures Act as a positive role model, leading by example and fostering a motivated team

Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role Strong leadership and team management skills Experience with route planning and optimisation for delivery drivers Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve under pressure Excellent organizational and communication skills Proficiency in warehouse management systems Forklift certification, Drivers Licence
