Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at our envelope warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of stock, operating warehouse machinery, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. A strong focus on accuracy, teamwork, and a commitment to following health and safety procedures is essential.
The shift available is Monday to Wednesday, 12 hours night shift. Starting the week on Monday at 18:00, finishing the week on Thursday 06:00

Key Responsibilities:
Loading & Unloading: Safely and efficiently load and unload envelopes and related products from delivery vehicles using counterbalance forklifts, and manual handling techniques. Ensure stock is checked before confirming receipt.
Putaway: Ensure all received goods are stored in the correct locations using the appropriate handling equipment, maintaining a tidy and organised warehouse layout. Replenish picking locations to ensure stock availability for box picks
Picking & Packing: Accurately pick orders from stock, box, and prepare pallets for dispatch. Ensure that products are packed securely and labelled correctly maintaining high standards of quality
Stock Counts & Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Report discrepancies and assist with stocktaking as required.
Machine Servicing: Monitor and replenish consumables (such as ink, glue, tape, window film, silicone etc.) for automated machines used in the production process. Pick the paper and boxes and deliver to production machines.
Clean as You Go: Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. Follow the 'Clean as You Go' policy to ensure that the warehouse, including floors, shelving, and machinery, is kept tidy and free of debris.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Follow all company procedures for equipment operation, storage, and handling of products.
