Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. the successful canditate will work in our busy warehouse completing various electrical duties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in electrical work to contribute to diverse projects in a dynamic environment. Applicants should possess a solid understanding of electrical principles and safety standards, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Core responsibilities

Installation and Assembly

: Preparing and testing single and three-phase equipment, such as distribution panels and transformers. Assembling and testing cables and connectors

Maintenance and Repair

: Conducting pre- and post-hire servicing, testing, and repairs on equipment like 3 phase distribution boards and 3 phase RCD's. Carrying out fault diagnosis and repairs on various electrical systems

Compliance and Safety

: Ensuring all work is compliant with UK safety standards, such as the IEE Wiring Regulations. Maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant working environment.

Stock and Logistics

: Managing spare parts, maintaining workshop stock levels, and preparing equipment to be ready for deployment. Supporting general depot tasks like plant movement and loading

Documentation

: Maintaining accurate records and documentation for all work performed.

Required skills and knowledge

Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams. Level 2 and 3 diplomas in electrical installations 18th edition qualification Strong understanding of electrical fault diagnosis and repair. Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations. Good communication and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Working hours are Monday-Friday 8am-6pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
