Due to a continued growth in our sales in 2025/6 and distribution operations, the Wicked Cake Company are looking for suitable candidates to form a new role in our Bakery warehouse. As this role is still developing and is not fulltime (yet) the successful candidates will also be required to support our bakery team members 1 or 2 days per week within our processing and packing teams.

Working for our Bakery Management team Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm the candidate will unload and process incoming raw materials, supply raw materials and packaging to our bakery teams for production purposes, and pick and arrange dispatch of our finished goods to our customers. Experience of using a warehouse software package would be beneficial .

The successful candidates will ideally have the following characteristics and experience.

Warehouse experience is required FLT trained and competent with current license. Attention to detail is a necessity as our food safety and customer servicing will rely on the accuracy of this individual. Competent and confident in computer use, ideally on Sage systems. Food manufacturing experience would be beneficial, but not a requirement as training will be given. Although previous training would accelerate the training programme. You will be willing to learn with a 'can do' attitude at all times. Must be able to read, write and speak English the candidate will be filling in documents as we have several systems for H&S and Food Safety which must be adhered to. You must have the ability to work on your own initiative and build strong relationships with colleagues. You have experience of working in a team or with customers Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment The warehouse role can be demanding so the successful candidate must be able to lift up to 16kg weights on a regular basis, stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, push, pull. Must be able to work overtime when needed
