Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations within a dynamic logistics environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient processes across all aspects of warehouse management. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain principles, process optimisation, and the utilisation of advanced warehouse management systems. The Warehouse Manager will play a pivotal part in maintaining safety standards, improving operational efficiency, and supporting organisational growth.

Responsibilities



Oversee all warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfilment. Supervise warehouse staff, providing leadership, training, and performance management to ensure high productivity and morale. Manage transportation logistics using systems such as Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL). Utilise Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like AS400 to track inventory levels, optimise stock movements, and streamline operations. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, reduce costs, and improve safety standards. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure proper utilisation of equipment such as forklifts. Analyse profit & loss data related to warehouse operations to identify areas for cost savings and revenue enhancement. Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimise overall logistics performance and support organisational objectives. Develop strategies for process improvement within shipping & receiving functions while maintaining high accuracy levels. Coordinate with external vendors and internal departments to ensure seamless flow of goods through the warehouse.

Requirements



Proven supervising experience within a warehouse or logistics environment. Strong knowledge of supply chain management, logistics principles, and warehouse operations. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400, and transportation management tools. Familiarity with 3PL providers, shipping & receiving procedures, and freight forwarding processes. Proficiency in using forklift trucks safely; relevant certifications are desirable. Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Analytical skills to interpret profit & loss data and identify operational efficiencies. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Knowledge of health & safety regulations applicable to warehousing environments. Pay: 30,000.00-48,255.40 per year
