About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a growing team to ensure the warehouse and yard are running effectively and efficiently. The successful candidate will have previous experience within a warehouse/yard role, preferably at Manager level.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient management of incoming and outgoing deliveries. Collaborate closely with the Operations Coordinator to ensure materials and stock are prepared and ready for the following day's projects. Liaise with the Operations Coordinator to ensure timely ordering and replenishment of stock. Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records, leading monthly stock takes and reporting on variances. Ensure the yard is kept safe, organised, and fully compliant with health and safety standards. Lead the implementation of a barcode system to streamline stock control and support accurate inventory reporting. Work in partnership with the Plant Manager and site teams to ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available where and when they're needed.

Requirements

Proven leadership and communication skills, with a confident yet fair management style. Highly organised, proactive, and able to maintain a tidy and efficient working environment. Competent with digital systems and inventory tracking tools. Previous experience in a warehouse or yard-based role, ideally within the construction or logistics sector. Based within easy reach of Basildon, with reliable transport to and from work.
