As Warehouse Manager, you will be at the heart of our operations, overseeing the warehouse function including goods in, goods out, stock control and health and safety compliance. This is a hands-on role, where no two days are the same.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient running of all warehouse functions, you'll be responsible for driving operational excellence, maintaining safety and compliance standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

The successful candidate will combine a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach, bringing energy, leadership, and structure to a busy, fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with internal teams to ensure the warehouse runs smoothly, meets service level expectations, and supports long-term business goals.

Salary + Overtime available during peak periods

Key Responsibilities



Lead the day-to-day operations of our Sutton Coldfield warehouse site

Manage and supervise warehouse staff; hire, train, schedule, and evaluate performance

Plan and coordinate incoming goods, storage and dispatch to meet KPIs

Maintain warehouse layout and optimize space utilization

Work closely with Purchasing to maintain adequate stock levels

Coordinate with, procurement, and operations teams to meet delivery timelines

Maintain strict control of operational documentation and reporting

Drive a Right First-Time culture across service, quality and accuracy

Implement and enforce Health & Safety policies and safe working practices

Manage warehouse equipment and maintenance schedules

Act as a key holder, opening and closing the site when necessary

Required Qualifications & Experience



Qualification in logistics and/or supply chain, preferred but not essential 3-5 years of warehouse or distribution centre experience 1-3 years in a supervisory or management role Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices Experience with warehouse machinery (e.g. forklifts, pallet wrappers, pallet trucks)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 38,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
