Warehouse Manager

to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure that every order leaves our facility with care, efficiency, and precision.

Role Overview

The Warehouse Manager will take ownership of all warehouse operations, ensuring smooth receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of ingredients, packaging, and finished products. You'll lead a small but dynamic team, maintaining high standards of food safety, stock accuracy, and operational efficiency -- and making sure that all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, every time.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in food manufacturing, e-commerce fulfilment, or FMCG environments who enjoys a balance of strategy and hands-on work.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all warehouse operations, including goods in, stock control, order fulfilment, and dispatch. Oversee daily packing and shipping of fudge products to retail, wholesale, and e-commerce customers, ensuring all orders are sent out

accurately and on time

. Packing orders and making sure you and your team dispatch within a timely manner. Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and traceability standards (HACCP/BRC). Manage supplier deliveries and coordinate with production to ensure a steady flow of ingredients and packaging. Implement and maintain warehouse organisation systems to maximise space and efficiency. Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring a culture of safety, quality, and timeliness. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies. Liaise with courier partners and oversee order tracking, delivery schedules, and issue resolution. Support process improvements to enhance speed, accuracy, and overall fulfilment performance.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, Supervisor, or similar role (ideally in food, confectionery, or FMCG). Strong understanding of warehouse and inventory management systems. Excellent organisational and leadership skills. Knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety, and quality assurance standards. Forklift licence (preferred but not essential). Competent in Microsoft Office and/or warehouse management software. Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and meet daily dispatch targets.

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
