pdhsports.com is a long-established, independent UK racket sports retailer with an e-commerce operation and Derby-based showroom. We're looking for an organised, hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee the smooth running of our fast-paced fulfilment operation. You'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their orders quickly and accurately, while maintaining high standards of stock control, efficiency and team leadership within a friendly, growing business.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient logistics processes. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, warehouse systems, and process optimisation to support the company's growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Oversee all warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfilment. Supervise warehouse staff, providing leadership, training, and performance management to ensure high standards of productivity and safety. Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to optimise supply chain operations. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate records of shipping & receiving activities and manage stock levels effectively. Operate or oversee the operation of warehouse equipment safely.

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a warehouse or logistics environment. Strong knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and warehouse operations. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems Demonstrated ability in process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
