We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our Lenziemill, Cumbernauld site. We're seeking a dynamic and experienced leader from the FMCG sector to help drive our transformation programme. circa 65,000 per annum (DOE)

What you'll do:



Maintaining a continued focus around safety, ensuring the safety of our people and colleagues is your first priority Creating a stable and high performing team within the warehouse function Succession and development of Warehouse Operations Managers, Shift Managers, Apprentices and Operatives ensuring a healthy internal pipeline within our organisation Building and owning the warehouse business plan Driving best in class performance, continuous improvement and efficiency within the warehouse function through your people Delivering bottom up ownership of risk management and compliance Delivering exemplary service to our customers with sustainable year on year improvement Identifying, securing and executing growth opportunities with our customer Effectively motivate, manage and inspire your Operations Managers to develop and grow the skills of their teams, to perform at the highest possible standard Effectively manage the levels of manpower and other resources required to meet the customers SLA's Standing-in for the General Manager during periods of absence - acting up as a manager to your peers and their teams and fulfilling the GM's duties in full Proposing innovative ideas and suggestions for improvement - encouraging and listening to the suggestions and opinions of those around you to enhance the service we provide to our customers Ensuring all requirements relating to safety, health, environment and quality are being fully implemented - where any issues arise, promote our Involve culture to enable your teams, and the wider teams to lead the way in solving these issues and ensuring a 100% safe environment at all times Ensuring compliance with all Hygiene and Safety statutory requirements

Who you are:



Proven leadership experience in FMCG, with a passion for team development and operational excellence A versatile, forward-thinking manager who motivates and adapts to change Strong grasp of performance metrics and reporting Skilled in identifying risks and implementing effective solutions Confident working with systems and leveraging them for efficiency Excellent relationship-building skills, including experience navigating trade union matters
