Become part of the first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years! Join our Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick team as an Warehouse Manager on the Hinkley Point Project and develop with this amazing project.

About Hinkley Point C

The first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years; Hinkley Point C in Somerset will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, create thousands of jobs and bring lasting benefits to the UK economy.

Marking a significant milestone in the revitalisation of our nuclear power industry, Hinkley Point C will make a major contribution to the UKs move to reduce carbon emissions. The electricity generated by its two EPR reactors will offset 9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year.

This is a fully site based role
What you'll be doing




Construction procurement or warehouse asset / inventory

management:

Record and input data related to weekly and Monthly KPIs
In support of the Off-Site Materials Lead, attend coordination meetings that

include procurement/expediting and construction planning for MEH lookaheads on Material installation.

Assist with requests to plan the material preparation and configuration ahead of site need and schedule.
Plan and coordinate the movement of material to allow consolidation (of Material Requests) ahead of delivery to site.
Provide feedback and reporting of performance of material to site deliveries weekly and monthly.
Support through visual aids and data input detailed information to support

forecasted material data and logistics performance for MEH Alliance and NNB Tier 1 storage locations.

Feedback and report to the Offsite Materials Lead on any potential

improvements on process, HS&E and the reporting structure where shortfalls are


identified along with other Area Leads within the MEH Materials Management


teams.

Assisting the Offsite Materials Lead, with day-to-day management of an off-site

location and processes



Who we're looking for





Relevant qualifications, Graduate level or a minimum NVQ Level 4 or equivalent.

Must have advanced skills and experience with MS Office and have strong Data

Analytics background

Warehouse, equipment and asset management is highly

valued.

Previous experience in warehouse operations and supply chain/material

management/ procurement/quality management at large scale is essential.


or Industry-specific certifications can enhance your credibility and demonstrate your expertise or experience within warehousing operations, material, and equipment management.

Able to obtain a security clearance.
