The Company:

Sephra, based in Kirkcaldy, Fife, is a leading Catering Equipment, Ingredient, and Confectionery brand, distributing to customers throughout the UK, the USA, and internationally.

We supply both directly and through our own online distribution division, cfw.co.uk, via Amazon and through an expanding network of authorised distributors to foodservice operators, retailers, and domestic customers from our distribution centres in Scotland and the USA.

The Role:

Due to expansion and growth, we are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager (minimum of 5 years) to oversee the warehouse operations in our growing organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse, ensuring efficient processes and adherence to safety regulations, with a hands-on approach that leads by example. This role requires strong leadership skills of the existing team and a good understanding of warehouse inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily activities of warehouse staff, focusing on performance, motivation, and development through effective supervision and coaching. Conduct daily team meetings to align priorities, communicate targets, and address operational challenges. Collaborate closely with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Procurement) to manage inventory, resolve outstanding orders and ensure smooth order fulfilment. Champion the implementation of Lean principles to drive continuous improvement, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency. Oversee and support the daily execution of shipping, receiving, and inventory management tasks, ensuring productivity and accuracy. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards across all warehouse operations. Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration to build a high-performing, safety-conscious team environment. Support the use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to maintain accurate tracking of stock and workflow. Contribute to reporting and process improvement initiatives to enhance overall warehouse performance.
Skills

Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Strong understanding of business processes related to warehousing and logistics. Experience with shipping and receiving procedures in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is essential Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team towards common goals.

Hours:

Monday - Thurs: 9 - 5.30 pm, Friday: 9 - 3.30 pm.

Base Salary:

From 35,000

Profit Sharing Bonus:

Estimated 3,000 - 6,000*

Paid quarterly, 2 months in arrears. Enrolled on the first full quarter after 6 months of service. Figures based on average bonuses paid in the past 24 months; bonuses will vary depending on the company's performance and are uncapped.
