Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient logistics processes.

This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, warehouse systems, and process optimisation to support organisational growth and operational excellence.

The Warehouse Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining safety standards, improving workflows, and ensuring seamless coordination between transportation and storage functions.

Duties

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfilment. Supervise warehouse staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to optimise productivity. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, reduce costs, and optimise utilisation of space and resources. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff. Oversee shipping & receiving activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveries. Operate forklift trucks safely for the movement of goods within the warehouse. Collaborate with procurement teams to manage stock levels effectively and reduce waste. Maintain clear communication with other departments to support overall business objectives.

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a warehouse or logistics environment. Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives. Familiarity with forklift operation and safety standards. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams towards operational excellence.
