Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive

Warehouse Manager

to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role requiring strong operational knowledge, management skills, and a commitment to high standards. Opportunity to move into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Quality Control

Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records, minimising errors and discrepancies Oversee quality checks to ensure products meet required standards Manage packaging materials and supplies to support operations

Logistics & Reporting

Liaise with suppliers, transport partners, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations Produce operational and performance reports as required Manage warehouse budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse processes

Warehouse Operations Management

Coordinate the efficient receipt, storage, assembly, and dispatch of stock Optimise warehouse layout and space utilisation Oversee and manage automated systems and warehouse technologies

Hands-On & Forklift Operation

Operate forklifts and warehouse machinery as required Support loading and unloading of goods and movement of stock Carry out routine equipment checks to ensure safe operation

Health & Safety

Implement, monitor, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments Ensure correct use, maintenance, and compliance of all warehouse equipment, including forklifts

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven leadership and people management experience Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills Analytical mindset with attention to detail Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems Strong understanding of health and safety regulations Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery Physically capable of lifting heavy objects

Contract length: 9 months

Pay: 29,000.00-30,000.00 per year
