About The Role:
We are looking for a Warehouse manager to run our busy Goods in, Stores and Despatch area. This is a challenging role as the department is growing, and the business is implementing SAP in 2026. Previous experience within a similar role & MRP experience is expected.
Ability to hold Security Clearance - 5 years residence in the UK
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
Ensure efficient warehouse layout and space utilization to optimize operations
Maintain inventory control systems and conduct planned cycle counting & stock audits.
Oversee the delivery of equipment to production teams.
Enforce health, safety, and security standards in compliance with company and legal requirements.
Manage, train, and motivate a small team to achieve operational excellence.
Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs and lost stock.
Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders, build working relationships to ensure a smooth order delivery.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare operational reports.
Manage budgets and control expenses related to warehouse operations.
Essential Skills and Experiences:
Experience of managing a small team (2 - 4)
Strong leadership and team management skills
SAP or similar MRP software experience
Multiple years of experience in warehouse or distribution management
Previous experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
Desired Skills and Experiences:
Certification in supply chain or logistics (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is an asset.
