Full Time:

Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm with flexibility to cover other shifts when necessary.

Salary:

28,000 - 33,500 Depending On Experience

Holiday:

29 days per annum (includes Bank Holidays)

Reports to:

Operations Manager

Purpose of the job:

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities, ensuring the safety and productivity of the warehouse staff, and optimising processes to meet our production and distribution needs.

Key Responsibilities:





1. Warehouse Operations: Manage all warehouse activities, including receiving and storing while ensuring efficient use of space and resources. Also liaising with the despatch supervisor regarding staffing.





2. Responsible for all booking in





3. Inventory Management: Implement inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent overstock or understock situations.





4. Quality Control: Maintain product quality by establishing and enforcing quality control standards and procedures.





5. Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among warehouse staff.





6. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee regular maintenance of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.





7. Efficiency Improvement: Continuously assess and improve warehouse processes to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.


The ideal candidate requirements:



Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager in a manufacturing or distribution setting. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices. Proficiency in using warehouse management software. Understanding of health and safety regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
