As Warehouse Manager, you will oversee warehouse operations and drive improvements in processes, accountability, and team culture. You'll ensure smooth communication across departments, provide clear direction to your team, and cultivate an enjoyable workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Culture
Lead and motivate a small but busy warehouse team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment
Encourage accountability, reliability, and pride in the day-to-day operations
Conduct performance reviews, manage shift schedules, and ensure adequate coverage
Act as a consistent presence in the warehouse - someone who can be counted on, and who others want to follow
Operational Excellence
Maintain an organised, clean, and efficient warehouse environment
Oversee daily operations including goods-in, stock movement, stock control, and outbound deliveries
Ensure FIFO and general inventory principles are followed accurately
Liaise with the operations manager and other departments to ensure priorities are aligned
Process Improvement and Reporting
Identify practical solutions to everyday problems, and implement them quickly and effectively
Monitor KPIs and workflows, using data to improve efficiency where needed
Conduct regular stock checks and oversee returns processing
Fleet & Equipment Oversight
Coordinate delivery schedules and manage the upkeep of the delivery fleet
Ensure vehicles are maintained, clean, and compliant
Work to reduce reliance on third-party couriers by increasing the capacity and utilisation of our in-house fleet
Safety & Compliance
Ensure the warehouse operates within health and safety, fire safety, and company policy guidelines
Promote safe working practices and a zero-compromise approach to workplace safety
Maintain clear walkways, storage areas, and a workspace that people can take pride in
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics management role
A
people-first mindset

Strong organisational and time-management skills
A proactive approach to problem-solving and hands-on leadership
Experience with warehouse systems (preferred but not essential)
Ability to stay calm under pressure and make clear, confident decisions

Role Information:
Salary: 42,000 - 45,000 per year
Hours: Flexible working hours, based on 8:00 - 17:00
Monday - Friday, with core hours of 11:00 - 15:00
Flexible Saturday - 8:00 - 12:30
Flexibility to start earlier or later, depending on personal preference
