Job Description

Duties



To manage the general day to day running of the Warehouses within the region

Carry out necessary repairs of equipment to ensure it's available to be sent to site

Ordering of stock and materials via the administration team, ensuring correct stock levels are maintained.

Control all stock entering or leaving the Warehouses

Maintain all restoration equipment fixed to the warehouse, this includes all washing machines, tumble dryers and dip lines.

Checking and signing off deliveries on arrival.

Deliver Materials and Equipment upon request from MCL and R&R

Carry out monthly stock takes

Management of crates within the Warehouse to ensure maximum storage utilisation

Supervise employees carrying out the restoration process for both MCL and R&R

Meeting with Customers, Loss Adjusters and Loss Assessors who visit the unit to inspect contents and equipment, including the preparation of all relevant paperwork.

Manage and ensure all Quality, Management and Health and Safety requirements are met for audit purposes.

During a surge event, assist with the deployment of equipment alongside the Operations Manager and Major Loss Project Manager

Responsible for the control of WEEE, hazardous and general waste, including exchange of skips also ensuring waste is booked to jobs

Ensure all health and safety procedures are policed within the warehouse environment

Understand and implement the use of new procedures and materials.

On call, should the alarm be activated or should entry be required by technicians out of hours if they do not have a key.

Maintain Forklift Truck

Testing of fire alarm weekly.

Ensuring that the delivery vans are always kept clean and presentable, and maintained, carrying out vehicle checks on return

Escalate operational issues to relevant department.

Manage and co-ordinate servicing of all equipment stored within the unit on a rotational basis. Including cleaning, changing filters and PAT testing of equipment as per Belfor guidelines.
