The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading the overall strategy and daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance with safety, quality, and financial standards. This role requires overseeing performance across multiple shifts, managing improvement initiatives, and developing the workforce to optimise productivity. The Warehouse Manager ensures that the department operates efficiently, within budget, and meets KPIs.
Duties

Responsible for completion and documentation of line start up safety checks to include; machinery, lighting, flooring, fire escape routes, housekeeping standards.
Responsible for monitoring & reviewing staff behaviours, challenging unsafe behaviours / practices and correcting them.
Responsible to ensure compliance to company policies, procedures, site rules and information and instruction given by your employer.

Key Duties
Compile and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for the warehouse?
Present and discuss KPI performance with Senior Management and use insights to guide decision making and strategy?
Monitor department spending against the budget, ensuring operational costs are controlled.?
Identify opportunities for cost saving initiatives and lead the creation and implementation of improvement plans?
Regularly review safety statistics, including incident reports and near misses?
Develop and oversee the implementation of safety improvement plans, ensuring a safe work environment and full compliance with health and safety regulations.?
Oversee the review of quality and accuracy metrics ensuring that errors and inefficiencies are minimised?
Implement improvement plans focussed on increasing accuracy in inventory management, order in inventory management, order picking and shipments.?
Represent the warehouse department in site- level meetings ensuring alignment with broader company goals and sharing progress on key initiatives. ?
Collaborate with cross- functional teams to resolve issues, implement new processes and drive continuous improvement.?
Develop and deliver the overall strategy for the warehouse department ensuring it supports the company's long-term goals.?
Align operational priorities with company objectives focussing on efficiency, growth, and customer satisfaction. ?
Lead and manage various improvement projects from concept to implementation aimed at optimising warehouse operations and driving innovation?
