Your tasks



Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfilment. Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure team efficiency. Manage utilisation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and AS400 to optimise workflow and data accuracy. Coordinate transportation management systems (TMS) to streamline logistics processes and improve delivery times. Implement process improvements aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall warehouse performance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff. Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Oversee shipping & receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch of goods. Operate forklifts safely for material handling tasks; organise regular training for staff on equipment use. Analyse profit & loss data to identify areas for financial optimisation within the warehouse operations.

Required profile



Proven supervisory experience within a warehouse or logistics environment. Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics processes, and warehouse management systems (WMS). Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP systems, and AS400 platforms. Knowledge of 3PL operations and shipping & receiving procedures. Demonstrated ability in process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement methodologies. Hands-on experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely. Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and best practices for maintaining a secure environment. Previous exposure to logistics software such as Warehouse Management System (WMS) is essential.
