London - our warehouse HQ + on the road for events
At
Chick 'n' Sours
, we're all about big flavours, bold energy, and good times. Behind every epic event, there's a ton of graft and organisation that makes it all run smoothly -- and that's where you come in.
We're on the hunt for a
Warehouse Manager
who loves getting stuck in, takes pride in keeping things slick and sorted, and wants to grow with us. You'll be the person who keeps our event world spinning -- from making sure our gear's ready to roll, to loading vans, to running a small crew when things get busy.
This starts as a
freelance, as-and-when role
, but we're looking for someone who can
grow into a full-time position
as our event schedule gets bigger and busier.
What You'll Be Doing
Picking, packing, and prepping
all the gear we need for events -- kitchen kit, utensils, food stock, packaging, you name it.
Keeping the warehouse in top nick
-- everything clean, organised, and ready to go at a moment's notice.
Driving, loading, and delivering
kit to events and back. You'll know your way around a van (and London roads).
Managing a small team
of freelance crew during our busy seasons -- making sure everyone knows the plan and we're running like clockwork.
Working closely with our events team
to plan ahead, stay on top of stock, and make sure we never miss a beat.
What We're Looking For
Experience in warehouse, logistics, or event ops -- bonus points if you've done both.
Someone who's organised but chilled -- can keep cool under pressure and solve problems on the fly.
A full, clean UK driving licence (non-negotiable).
A team player who's just as happy getting hands-on as leading from the front.
A self-starter who wants to help build something, not just clock in and out.
What You'll Get
Freelance day rate (based on experience).
A genuine opportunity to
go full-time
as we expand.
A tight-knit, friendly team who love what they do.
A role that mixes structure and variety -- no two days (or events) are ever the same.
The chance to be part of a growing brand that's all about food, fun, and doing things properly.
