Job Description

Hereford Contract Canning is a fast-growing contract canning business, proudly working with leading drinks brands. Due to ongoing investment and the acquisition of new customers, we are expanding and looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.

You'll be part of a dedicated team of Warehouse Operatives, working Monday to Friday, on a 2 Shift Pattern (various hours between 0600 -2200).

The role will require contact with both suppliers and customers.

Main areas of responsibility:

Picking and pre-assembling of loads Loading of finished products onto vehicles that are collecting Double checking loads prior to despatch Controlling delivery and collection vehicles entering the yard Assist with stock counts Picking of Raw Material in accordance with Production Runs Utilise a Warehouse Management System along with Barcode Scanning Maintain on site KANBANs Maintain H&S requirements across the business

Required Skills:

A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence Previous experience of handling oversized and delicate product is an advantage Good level of numeracy and attention to detail Works with energy, accuracy, and a strong sense of responsibility. A team player who actively supports colleagues Flexible and positive approach to change Strong communication and interpersonal skills Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
