The Apprentice Warehouse Operative will receive full training and hands-on experience across all aspects of warehouse operations while working within a supportive team environment.

A small, family-run business based in Brackmills, Northampton, has been supplying high-quality leather to the wholesale market for over 38 years. The business operates a busy Sales Office supported by a warehouse holding over 1 million square feet of leather. With a strong culture of teamwork, loyalty, and recognition, employees are valued for their hard work and commitment.
Responsibilities
Preparing and parcelling goods for dispatch
Producing address and product labels using Microsoft Word
Liaising with the Sales Office team
Completing and updating carrier paperwork and systems
Receiving, unpacking, and checking goods
Assisting with deliveries in the company van (depending on age/licence status)
Participating in annual stock checks
Operating a forklift (training provided if eligible)
Picking and prioritising orders and updating associated paperwork
Skills & Requirements
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Reliable, proactive, and able to work well in a team
Good communication skills and attention to detail
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word experience is a plus)
Full UK driving licence preferred
Previous warehouse or forklift experience beneficial but not essential (training provided)
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm
