Job Description

About the Role:




The Warehouse Operative will support the efficient day-to-day operations of the warehouse and assist other departments as required. This role is critical to ensuring accurate stock control, timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of customer service and health & safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:



Follow all guidance and instructions from the Warehouse & Facilities Manager. Plan, organise and coordinate sales and deliveries to achieve excellent customer service. Ensure smooth and efficient operational logistics activities on a daily basis. Accurately input orders and stock data into the management system. Handle all paperwork in line with company standards. Work collaboratively within the team, promoting strong communication and customer service. Maintain and replenish stock levels, following proper ordering procedures. Pick goods from storage and prepare orders for dispatch. Load and unload vehicles manually and using a forklift, ensuring accuracy and safety. Communicate effectively with all departments and support material requisitions. Carry out deliveries to DPS active sites as required. Undertake stocktaking and general warehouse duties as needed. Comply with all Company and Client HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality & Environment) policies and procedures. Perform any other reasonable duties as required.

Key Competencies & Skills:



Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment desirable. Forklift license desirable. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Commitment to health and safety standards.
