Overview

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

Loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts Managing stock levels through accurate picking, packing, and organising of items Operating warehouse management systems (WMS) including AS400 for inventory control Handling materials safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations Assisting with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods Maintaining organisation within the warehouse, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met Supporting stock replenishment activities such as stocking shelves and organising storage areas Performing mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance when necessary

Skills

Experience with forklift operation is desirable Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), particularly AS400, is highly essential Strong materials handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely Previous warehouse experience, including stock management, shipping & receiving, and order picking & packing Mechanical knowledge beneficial for equipment maintenance or troubleshooting Construction or heavy lifting experience advantageous for physically demanding tasks Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory control and documentation
