As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. A Cold Chain Logistics Operative

plays a key role in ensuring that temperature-sensitive goods--such as pharmaceuticals, food products, and chemicals--are stored, handled, and transported under strict temperature-controlled conditions.

How you create impact

Handling time critical consignments. Preparing Temperature controlled alternatives to clients. Accurate and timely data recording. Action all Goods In & Goods Out movements of stock. Dealing with driver deliveries, collections, and pick-ups. Preparation of console consignments ready for shipping. Data entry of key milestone information. Dealing with all emails and phone calls in a timely manner. Undertake reasonable duties / responsibilities or tasks. Adherence to PCM / Liquid Nitrogen & Dry Ice solutions

What we would like you to bring

Warehouse working experience. Good understanding of warehouse flows and processes. Forklift license. (preferable not essential ) Confidence to work independently and remotely. Ability to work well under pressure. Able to identify and solve problems in a proactive manner. Excellent communication skills Organized and prioritize current and forward workload. Confidence working within a pressurized environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
