We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative at our bakery ingredients manufacturing site in Bicester. The job role will be predominantly a weighroom operative with warehouse responsibilities when required.
Double days (6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday) - Salary 31,724 per annum starting rate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Maintain and always operate within health and safety policies. Promote a safe a working environment.
Carry out clean as you go policies and to work closely with QA to continuously improve standards by ensuring internal audits are passed.
Complete all paperwork correctly, label all pallets and weighouts correctly, checking details as per work instructions and company policies.
Locate all stock correctly within the warehouse ensuring the warehouse management system is up to date.
Rotate all stock in line with date codes. Report short life stock to the Materials Manager.
Ensure all products set up for the production plants are on plastic pallets, with no damaged goods.
Focus on stock accuracy / location accuracy and ensure this is maintained by regular counting of stock and informing the Materials Manager when discrepancies are found.
All raw materials to be picked accurately ensuring service is maintained within the companies KPI target.
Constantly challenge the status quo and suggest areas for improvement.
Report all damages to either warehouse team leader or Materials Manager.
Establish good co-operative internal relationships with relevant departments/colleagues, keeping them informed of potential issues which may affect product safety or Customer requirements.
Play an integral part in the team to achieve department KPI's.
Carry out equipment checks before using them at the start of shift and fill out the relevant books required. Report all faults / damages / accidents to the Materials manager or team leader.
To have an understanding of Customer codes of practice, specific certification requirements e.g. Organic, RSPO, GMP, industry best practice and BRC requirements.
Ensure all the company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Carry out all additional duties as required including but not limited to warehouse and feeder roles.
To be considered for this role, you must have a reasonable standard of written and spoken English, good attention to detail, strong organisational skills, be responsible for time management, be customer focussed and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Forklift truck/Reach truck experience and a user's knowledge of standard warehouse software systems are essential for this role.
