Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organised warehouse environment. This role involves various tasks related to the handling of materials, including loading and unloading goods, stocking shelves, and ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes.

Key Responsibilities



Health & Safety

Work safely in line with legislation and EHS policies. Use equipment correctly and report hazards immediately. Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse and yard, promptly clearing spillages and minimising waste.
Goods Handling & Stock Control

Receive, check, and store goods accurately. Pick and consolidate orders, ensuring safe pallet building and product integrity. Assist in stock checks and report shortages or discrepancies. Maintain stock levels and consolidation to maximise space and throughput. Handle customer stock professionally and considerately.
Teamwork & Customer Services

Collaborate with warehouse, production, and customer service teams. Support customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment. Respond to operational needs and assist with any reasonable tasks requested by management.

Skills & Competencies



Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and flexibility under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience



Warehouse experience with stock handling and distribution - essential*.
Basic numeracy and literacy. Training provided for health and safety awareness.
