We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to materials handling, stock management, cutting of flooring - carpets and vinyl. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with prior warehouse experience or relevant skills in construction, heavy lifting, and stock control.
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Manage stock levels
Handle materials, including loading, unloading, and moving goods throughout the facility
Perform basic mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance
Maintain a clean and organised work environment to uphold safety standards
Cutting of flooring - carpet and vinyl
Qualifications
Proven experience in warehousing or logistics environments is preferred
Strong physical fitness with the ability to perform heavy lifting regularly
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in stock control and order fulfilment
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Valid forklift licence or certification is highly desirable
