Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse through various materials handling and stock management tasks. The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with warehouse management systems. Duties

Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, including forklifts Operate warehouse management systems such as AS400 for inventory control and order processing Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring accurate stock movement and storage Assist with picking and packing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Manage shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and record keeping Stock shelves and organise inventory to optimise space utilisation Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment Perform basic mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance Support construction or refurbishment activities within the warehouse as needed

Requirements

Proven experience in a warehouse environment or related field such as construction or materials handling Knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures (certification preferred) Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Mechanical knowledge or basic understanding of warehouse equipment maintenance is advantageous Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management and order fulfilment Good physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks Previous experience with shipping & receiving processes, including load & unload operations
