Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to materials handling, stock management, and shipping operations within a busy warehouse environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems and mechanical operations while contributing to the smooth functioning of our logistics processes. Prior warehouse experience and familiarity with equipment such as forklifts are highly desirable but not a necessity.

Duties

Loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment, including forklifts where qualified Managing stock levels through accurate picking, packing, and replenishment activities Operating warehouse management systems (WMS) Ensuring the safe handling of materials, including heavy lifting and manoeuvring bulky items Assisting with shipping and receiving procedures to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods Maintaining organisation within the warehouse by stocking shelves and ensuring clear pathways Conducting routine inspections of mechanical equipment and reporting any faults or maintenance needs Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times during daily operations

Skills

Proven experience in warehousing, stock control, or logistics environments Proficiency with forklift operation (certification preferred) Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) Strong materials handling skills, including heavy lifting and safe manual handling techniques Mechanical knowledge beneficial for equipment maintenance or troubleshooting Experience with picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Physical fitness to handle long periods of standing, walking, and lifting heavy items

Pay: 12.60-12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
