Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Workers and drivers mates to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the smooth flow of goods from receiving to shipping. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Receiving goods into the warehouse Offloading and loading vehicles; including heavy lifting of products including mattresses, bedframes, and sofa beds Checking deliveries on to systems, and checking & completing delivery paperwork Work to achieve daily targets. Organising and prioritising the workload Assist with the smooth operation of the warehouse. Ensure the overall appearance of the warehouse and external areas are in good order. Adherence to Health & Safety always ensuring safe working practices.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety practices in a warehouse environment. Experience with picking & packing processes is advantageous. Knowledge of AS400 or similar inventory management systems is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as part of daily duties. Basic construction skills or mechanical knowledge would be an asset. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role. Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 70 per week
