Job Summary
We are a medical manufacturer and distributor specialising in loan surgical kits, implants, and consumables. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative who is interested in a stable, long-term role.
This position requires strong attention to detail, as you will be handling medical products used in surgical procedures. Accuracy and organisation are essential. You will work alongside one other warehouse team member and closely with three members of the operations team to support daily warehouse and surgery schedules.
Full training will be provided. Previous warehouse or logistics experience is useful but not essential. We are looking for the right attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving, checking, and accurately booking in goods against delivery notes and ERP records
Inspecting incoming stock for damage, accuracy, and compliance before acceptance
Picking, packing, and despatching surgical kits, implants, and consumables to meet surgery schedules
Supporting the operations team to ensure all surgeries are fully supplied on time
Identifying, isolating, and removing expired or short-dated stock in line with quality procedures
Checking returned surgical kits and instruments for completeness and functionality
Replenishing kits with the correct components ready for reissue
Tracking and managing assets such as kit cases, trays, and loan equipment
Arranging standard, same-day, and urgent deliveries with courier services
Taking part in stock takes and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
Investigating and resolving delivery discrepancies, delays, or missing items
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
Supporting wider warehouse and operations activities during busy periods
Helping improve warehouse processes and day-to-day efficiency
Organising and managing incoming and outgoing event schedules, including exhibitions and demonstrations
