Warehouse Worker - Fabric Cutter, Peebles Warehouse

Holland & Sherry Limited is a luxury cloth merchant, operating in over 70 international markets. We are looking for a hard-working individual to work in our warehouse.

Fabric cutters work independently within our warehouse cutting team, cutting fabric accurately for customer orders.

If you have an interest in becoming a fabric cutter, full training will be given. Previous experience working in a warehouse and an understanding of textiles would be beneficial but not essential.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

Physical and manual dexterity.

A positive, confident, and professional attitude.

Able to work independently, and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and well organised.

Good communication skills.

Basic maths/computer skills.

Excellent time keeping and attendance record.

The Role:

To prepare cloth, cut and quality check customer orders from picking list.

Picking, rolling and cutting of materials

Working with a variety of materials and hand cutting.

Follow all guidelines and specifications.

Follow health, safety and environmental policies, guidelines and procedures as set out by the company.

Maintaining a clean workstation

Various aspects of working within busy warehouse, duties may include: -

Ensure orders are packed ready for shipping.

Receive goods/parcels into to the warehouse.

Ensure stock inventory system is kept up to date.

Full training will be provided.

The ability to lift heavy items is a genuine occupational requirement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
