Job Description
Don & Low are looking for motivated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our Nonwovens division in Forfar based on a 5-shift system.
You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement, storage and handling of goods within the factory.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be operating forklifts, managing raw materials & finished product, supporting production and maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out daily checks and maintenance of Forklift Trucks Transport finished products from production lines to the warehouse and prepare pallets for despatch Scan, record and store rolls in designated bays Handle raw material deliveries, check quality and keep accurate records Supply production areas with materials Load lorries and manage waste materials Carry out daily health & safety checks, keeping work areas tidy and hazard-free
Ideal Candidates:
Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver qualification preferred but training may be provided Warehousing experience Basic computer skills are essential Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Physically fit as role involves heavy lifting Willingness to work shifts, including at heights, outdoors and in noise-controlled areas
