Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, handling materials, and supporting shipping and receiving operations within a busy warehouse environment. Duties

Load and unload goods efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and manual handling techniques Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring goods are correctly documented and stored Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency Handle materials safely, adhering to health and safety regulations Organise stock storage areas for optimal space utilisation and accessibility Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies promptly Support the movement of goods within the warehouse, ensuring timely processing of orders Use basic maths skills to verify quantities, weights, and measurements during operations

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of warehouse management systems is advantageous Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is a plus Valid forklift licence or experience operating forklifts is desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Good understanding of materials handling procedures and safety standards Basic maths skills for inventory counting and measurements Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
