We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. Duties

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock levels and locations. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper techniques for lifting and moving heavy items. Perform stocking duties, ensuring shelves are replenished and organised. Utilise mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance of warehouse equipment. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading lorries. Execute picking and packing tasks accurately to fulfil customer orders. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets. Career progression opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with materials handling techniques is advantageous. Experience with inventory management systems is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Knowledge of construction processes can be beneficial for certain tasks within the warehouse. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
