THE ROLE

A vacancy has arisen for a Warehouse Operative, based at the NSG Automotive Limited site in Glasgow.



The successful candidate will join a team helping handle and ship automotive glass across different sites throughout the UK.


Working hours are 42 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and alternative Saturdays 8am-12pm & covering occasional nightshifts to cover annual leave.

Key responsibilities will be:

Ensuring all glass is delivered in a suitable condition and in a timely manner to the intended destination Multi drop pattern of up to 15 drops per driving shift Picking, packing and delivering orders Stock Counting General warehousing duties Always maintain a professional appearance in both presence and driving style. Ability to potentially work flexibly due to holidays/sickness.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You and your Skills

Full driving license with a minimum of 3 years driving experience. Experience of driving a 3.5t vehicle (Mercedes Sprinter/Ford Transit) Good knowledge of the automotive industry and products FLT licence is advantageous Good attention to detail - will be required to put stock away and pick up stock from alpha numeric code. A good geographical understanding of customer service areas. Good understanding of the SOPs to be followed and adhered to Ability to work effectively as part of a team The ideal person is hands-on, shows initiative, and takes pride in producing high-quality work
