Job Description

The role is to support the dispatch manager & dispatch lead, Ensuring all online orders received are prepared, packed and shipped correctly, first time, within our customer timelines.

Hours will be 40Hrs per week on a rota basis.

The role requires an individual who can work in a warehouse environment alongside and with our internal customer service department and when appropriate customers directly.

Although we operate a warehouse pick pack model the operation differs due to the nature of our product and the mixing of paint products to specific order requirements therefor this is not an ordinary fulfilment warehouse and knowledge and experience of paint is very desirable

Responsibilities

Ensure customer orders are fulfilled in line with our customer timelines

Ensure accurate receipt and storage of all goods from our suppliers following our operational policies

Communicate issues, delays , outages with suppliers, our customer services and build customer service relationship to ensure all our customers are front and centre of everything we do.

Mix paint to specific customer orders using our range of tinting machines

Ensure all warehouse H&S policies are adhered to

Utilize warehouse lift equipment where applicable when needed.

Perform all warehousing duties necessary to maintain a clean & safe work area

Skills required

Experience of Warehouse operations.

Knowledge of Warehouse ERP systems and an understanding of Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of a pick/pack warehouse operation preferable but not essential.

Paint knowledge is desirable

Ability to put the customer first and work with customer services to ensure the customer is always front and centre

Flexible and can do attitude to change with the needs of the business.

Forklift licence preferable but not essential

Driving licence preferable but not essential

Other

Will be required to work weekends on a rota pattern with other team members.

May be required to work shift patterns to meet the needs of the business.
