Key Points:

40 hours per week Mon-Fri (07.00 - 16.00) Salary: (26,250.00)
Experience or interest in working in a Warehouse environment.

Experience using various power tools effectively.

Good level of DIY competence and associated knowledge.

Preferable experience as a handyperson or in a maintenance role.

We are looking for a skilled handyperson to help around our site as well as to help in our fast-paced Warehouse to accurately and effectively pick and dispatch stock.

Tasks include but not limited to:

Provide support in picking stock for sales and installations and securely preparing picked stock for dispatch (wrapping and strapping etc). Perform general repairs and improvements in and around the building. Conduct routine inspections of buildings and facilities to identify and address maintenance needs, complementing the work of our QHSE Manager. Assemble furniture and equipment as needed. Paint, repair drywall, and handle other carpentry projects. Maintain and repair outdoor areas, including landscaping, fences, and walkways. Assist with cleaning tasks and waste management when needed. When required, working in the Installation department, assisting with ramp installs.
Staff will receive uniform, power tools, access to our pension scheme and service-related additional holidays.

Person Specification:

Essential

Ability to use hand and power tools effectively Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects Reasonable level of DIY competence and associated knowledge. Valid driving licence.

Desirable

Hold a current forklift licence. Have previous warehouse experience.
