Job Summary


We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our facility. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience or mechanical knowledge to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. The position involves physical tasks including heavy lifting and requires attention to safety standards to maintain a secure workplace. You will be required to pick, pack, ship orders along with managing goods in and putting stock away.

Responsibilities



Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, ensuring safe handling at all times Manage stock levels through accurate stocking, picking, and packing of items in accordance with order specifications Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 software to track inventory movements and update records Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods Handle materials efficiently, maintaining organisation within storage areas and ensuring accessibility Conduct routine maintenance checks on mechanical equipment and report any issues promptly Follow safety protocols during all warehouse activities, including heavy lifting and materials handling tasks Support in construction or refurbishment projects within the warehouse as required

Qualifications



Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for specific systems such as WMS and AS400 Mechanical knowledge or experience with construction is advantageous Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly Good organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management and record keeping Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Ability to operate forklift trucks safely; valid certification is desirable but not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-15.78 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
