We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks within our warehouse environment, ensuring smooth operations and efficient handling of goods. Responsibilities

Loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and manual handling techniques Stocking shelves and organising inventory in designated areas Operating warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 for inventory tracking and data entry Picking and packing orders accurately for shipment fulfilment Assisting with shipping and receiving activities, including documentation and scheduling Performing basic mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times during materials handling activities Assisting with construction or refurbishment projects within the warehouse as required Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse operations or similar environment Proficiency with forklift operation and safety protocols Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms Strong materials handling skills, including heavy lifting and manual dexterity Knowledge of stock management, picking & packing, shipping & receiving procedures Mechanical knowledge beneficial for equipment maintenance or troubleshooting Experience in construction or related trades is advantageous Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
