At British Gypsum we are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Logistics team, helping us deliver safe, efficient loading and stock movement across the site.

This role sits within our dedicated Warehouse & Logistics and you'll be joining a supportive and experienced team who take real pride in accuracy, safety and collaboration. With a rotating shift structure across both days and nights, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, pace, and physical work.

This is permanent full-time role and operates on a rotating shift pattern, working 12-hour shifts across days and nights.

What we're looking for:

Experience in a warehouse, logistics or stock-handling environment FLT licence preferred - ideally 5-tonne counterbalance Strong focus on safety and confidence following site procedures Ability to work flexibly across tasks, with a proactive and team-focused mindset Strong attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously
What you will be doing:

Safely loading and offloading trailers and lorries in line with site procedures Supporting metal stores operations, including picking and compiling loads for dispatch Managing stock rotation and supporting general warehouse organisation Following safety processes, raising concerns when needed, and maintaining high housekeeping standards Taking ownership of your tasks and contributing to overall shift productivity by being flexible and multi-skilled
