Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfil

has combined beef and lamb processing and packing facilities. We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers' counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to work in our busy Warehouse in Kepak in Merthyr Tydfil.

Experience of working within a Warehouse environment would be advantageous. Fork truck licence desirable but not essential.

This is a full time position working 6.00am to 6.00pm - 4 on / 4 off with an hourly rate of 13.81 per hour.

Please note, the work you will be carrying out will not always be on a Fork Lift - you will be asked to carry out various other duties in and around the Warehouse department.

Requirements

Ensuring stock is picked in rotation within department Ensure stock is fed through to production Loading and unloading trailers accurately and safely Putting stock away into storage accurately and safely Picking orders from a picking document moving stock accurately and safely to other departments Communicating with team leaders and Supervisors in the department Ensuring stock accuracy
