We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to shipping, receiving, handling returns and inventory management. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Order Fulfilment:
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
Warehouse Organization:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring aisles and storage areas are free from obstructions.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as required.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents to management.
Administrative Support:
Assist with basic administrative tasks, including data entry and filing, as needed.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred but not required.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is beneficial.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to [specific weight]) and perform physical tasks.
Basic computer skills for inventory management and management of daily returns.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
