Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves a variety of tasks essential to the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities, supporting inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience and possess relevant skills such as forklift operation and mechanical knowledge. Duties

Loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment, including forklifts Managing stock levels through accurate stocking, picking, and packing of items Operating warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 for inventory control and order processing Handling materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organisation Assisting with shipping and receiving activities, including documentation and verification of incoming and outgoing shipments Performing basic mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance Supporting construction or refurbishment activities within the warehouse as needed Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times during daily operations

Qualifications

Prior experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred Valid forklift licence or certification is highly desirable Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 is advantageous Strong materials handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely Mechanical knowledge or experience in construction is a plus Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management processes Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Good physical fitness to perform manual tasks throughout the shift

Pay: 12.21-18.36 per hour
